BENGOUGH.
Rengough, the famous Canadian cartoonist and humorist, will appear here on Thursday, October 7th. He is probably the most versatile artist on the concert platform, for he combines in himself the clever cartoonist and the humorous singer, mimic, and story-teller. He is reputed to draw pictures as fast as he talks and as cleverly. The charm ot his entertainment is said to be its unexpectedness, as any one may be picked out of the audience and reproduced with startling truth upon the stage. Bengough is assisted by Borneo Gardiner, the unique whistler, Claude Allan, baritone, and Dora Carroll, pianiste. Borneo Gardiner's whistling solos are said to add greatly to the novelty and charm of the entertainment.
