A SUCCESSFUL COMPANY

The towr ship of Hastings, in the Hawke's Bay district, is fortunate in having in'Us vicinity the Frimley orchards and cannery. Throughout the year the services of a very huge number of hands are engaged by the Frimley Canning Company, one of the best concreted and moat rapidly expanding businesses of its kind in the Dominion. It is only a few years ago that the present general manager, Mr Basil Jones, undertook control, and the magnificent success achieved by bim bears eloquent testimony to his keen business acumen, foresight and determination. Under his guidance the company has now one of the best equipped canneries in the Southern Hemisphere, in which much improved labour saving machinery, calculated to give the best results, is installed. The conditions jtider which the employees work are jlso admirable, their welfare being studied in every detail, for, as Mr Basil Jones states, good work is always assured where the surroundings ire congenial. Public appreciation of canled goods gearing the "Frimley" )rand is shown in the ever increasng sales recorded, and substantial additions to the factory have been ioreed upon the company, the erecion of which is nDW nearing completion. "Frimley" products are >biainable from all grocers who are inxims to supply their customers vith t')e base procurable.
