By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Sept. 29. The following is Rev D. C. Bates' report and weather forecast:—Warm and gloomy weather has prevailed generally, and misty rain and fog in the extreme North and South, and on the West Coast of the South Island. The present indications are for freshening norhterly winds over the North Island, and easterlies in the South, with cloudy and wet weather generally. The barometer will probably fall fast soon for a storm area is apparently approaching towards Cape Farewell from the north-west.
