LORD RIPON'S ESTATE.
BEQUEST FOR SCHOLARSHIPS. Received September 28, 85. a.in. LONDON, September 27. The late Marquis of Ripon's estate has been valued at £125,574. The Marqis beqeathed to Mr St. Quer.tin, who was for some time his private secretary, £IO,OOO, and provided for scholarships in connection with the Ripon Grammar School No religious bequests are made. The church and convent at San Damiano, near Assisi, Italy, is left to Lord Walter Kerr.
