GRANTED A CHAKTEH BY THE KING.
Received September 28, 8.5 a.m. LONDON, September 27. The "Times" states that King Edwnrd has granted a. charter and diploma to the Royal British and Colonial Society of Artists, which will send a collection of pictures to Montreal, Canada, for exhibition in November next.
