SUCCESS OF NEW ZEA LAN TIERS. Received September 29, 1.10 a.m. SYDNEY, September 28 The boxing finals resulted as follows: Bantam-weight—Wennard (New Zealand) beat Richardson (Tasmania). The Tasnianian did all the fighting, but Wennard won on points. Feather-weight.—Hegarty (New Zealand) beat Fitzsimmons (New douth Wales). Hegarty attacked strongly in the final round, and knocked his opponent out. Light-weight.—O'Sullivan (New South Wales) beat Lacey (New South Wales). Welter.—Currie (Victoria) beat House (Tasmania). Middle-weight Midwood (Tasmania) beat Gunning (New South Wales). Heavy-weight.—Thompson (New South Wales baat Weldie (Victoria).
