The House of Commons has agreed to all the clauses of the Budget except Clause 71, relating to the re* duction of the permanent annual charge on the National Debt, which was postponed.
GENERAL ELECTION PROBABLE IN JANUARY.
Received September 26, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, September 25. The "Daily Chronicle" and "Daily News" state that it is probable that a genera] election will be held in January next.
