WAIRARAPA AMATEUR SWIMMING CLUB.
ANNUAL REPORT.
The following report is to be presented to the members of the Wairarapa Amateur Swimming Club, at their annual meeting, to be held to-night, at 8 o'clock, in the Drill Hall:—ln submitting for your approval the second annual report and balance sheet, your Committee has much pleasure in stating that the club is in a good financial position, there being a credit balance at the end of the year's working of £5 lis Bd, as shown in the balance sheet. It is to be regretted that members did not take as much interest in Club affaire during the year just ended, as they did the previous year. But as it was a very unfavourable season for swimming there is a slight excuse. But it is to be hoped that members and intending members will rally round and make the coming season a prosperous one. it is with regret that we have to state that our worthy captain, Dr R. V. Hosking, who has done so much for ,the Club since its inception is leaving the Dominion. The thanks of the Club are due to the public of Masterton for their donations towards the prize funds, and to the ladies who so generously helped the club on several occasions. Prizes to the value of £2O, were given during the season at very little cost to the club, The names <f all donors of cash and trophies too numreous to mention in this report have already been published in the local papers.
