COLLAPSE OF HUNGER STRIKE. Received September 24, 11.55 p.m. LONDON, September 24. The hunger strike in connection with the Suffragettes sentenced at Birmingham for disturbing Mr Asquith's meeting, has collapsed, the Home Office expert having visited the Windsor Green Prison on Wednesday and authorised the use of the stomach pump on the strikers.
