The Commonwealth Government is understood to share this view A plan has been drafted for providing stations without the assistance of installations on foreign soil. Under the proposals the stations -would be Southport (Queensland), Port Morasby (New Guinea), the Solomons, Ocean Island (Hawaii), Tonga, Kara tonga, and Doubtless Bay (New Zealand.
