RACING.
LOWER VALLEY ACCEPTANCES. Acceptances for the first day's handicaps and entries for the Maiden Hack and Hack Scurry races, to be run at Martinborough on Thursday and Friday next, close with the secretary, Mr F. J. Read, Martinborough, to-day, DANNEVIRKE RACING ULUB. SPRING MEETING. The programme appearing in this issue, and one that-will attract the attention of northern owners, is that of the Dannevirke Racing Club's Spring Meeting, to be held on November 17th and 18th. In all details iit is similar to that issued last ! spring, the principal attractions being the Dannevirke Handicap, of 300 aovs., one mile and a quarter; Weber Welter Handicap, of UOsovs. seven furlongs; Matamau Flying Handicap, of 120 sovs, six furlongs; and Spring Handicap, of 150 sovs, one mile and a distance. Entries close with the secretary, Mr J. 3. Freeman, Dannevirke, on October 23rd.
