CHINESE SCHOOL.
WANTED IN AUSTRALIA. A REQUEST DECLINED. BOYCOTT HINTED AT. Received September 22, 8.35 a.m. SYDNEY, September 21. The leading Chinese in Sydney, through their Consul-General, asked permission to import a Chinese teacher and to establish a school for their children. The Federal Government declined to accede to the request The presidant of the Chinese Merchants' Society hints that the refusal may lead to a boycott of Australian goods.
