LATE JOHN DAVIDSON.
BODY BURIED AT SEA. Received September 22, 8.35 a.®. LONDON, September 21. The body of the Davidson, the poet, accordance with his wish, was buried at sea in the presence of hb sons. At the inquest the iury had re turned a verdict of "Found dead." The Home Secretary, Right Hon. H. Gladstone, in reply to an application to allow the body taken out to sea, declined to approve any course other than burial in the ordinary way, or cremation. He re fused to discuss legal points.
