FAT SHEEP AWARDS. A COMPARISON. The Secretary of the Masterton A. and P. Association has just received from the Wellington Meat Export Company the London market returns of the sheep and lambs killed and judged at last Masterton Show, and then judged and sold on the London market: — Class 235—Five lambs, longwool or luTigwoo! cross. London Masterton award. award. 1 J. Strang 2 2 J. Strang 3 3 McKenzie Bros. W. and H. Beetham 1 Remarks, ldt—The3e were of fine qaahty very meaty and well covered 2nd—These were of good quality, meaty, useful size, fairly well covered. 3rd—These were of good quality, full of meat, three had rather plain legs. j 4th -Fine quality, but rather large for lambs. I sth-Good quality, very meaty, . but rather large. 6th—Fair quality and meaty. < 7th—Good quality, full of meat, one had somewhat plain legs, ulass 231—Five lambs dowu or down cross. Ist—These were of very fine quality, short legs, nice size, but rather plain legs. 2nd—These wero oi very good quality, meaty and well covered. 3rd—Very choice quality, very meaty, short legs, but rather too large. 4th—Very good quality, well covered. sth—Very good quality, meaty, but rather plain legs. 6th -Very good quality, meaty and well covered. Ist—These were of fine quality, short legs, well covered and full of meat. 2nd—These were of fine quailty, short legs, very well covered., very meaty. 3rd —These were of good quailty, fairly short legs, well covered. 4th—Good aualitv. short legs, fairly meaty. sth—Good quality, short legs, but rather fat. w „ 6th—Short legs well covered but fat.

Ist -These were of good quality, well covered and full of meat. 2nd—Thesa. were ot good quality, very meaty and fairly well covered. 3rd—These wan-e of good quality, meaty and well covered. 4th—Fair quality, well covered, but too fat. sth—Very fair quality, well covered two rather fat. 6th —Fair quality and meaty. 7th—Good quality, short legs, well covered.
