MASTERTON CLUB. The following is "the result of the second round for the Ladies* Championship, played on Thursday last:— Mrs Guy Williams defeated Mrs W. H.Booth, 4 up and 2 to play; Miss E. Kobieson defeated Mrs J. B. Henry 4, up and 2 to play; Mrs N. Beetham defeated Miss M. H. Pay ton, 4up and 3 to play; Miss J. Robieson defeated Miss D. Booth, 1 up at the 19th hole. The semi-final will be played on Thursday next, when Mrs Guy Williams plays Miss J. Kobieson and Miss E. Robieson plays Mr 3 N. Beetham.
