Jjßeceived September 17, 8.40 a.m. LONDON, September 16. Dr William Newton, Crown licensee at the Marion and Prince Edward Llanos, a small group in the Southern Indian Ocean, states that it is common knowledge among Cape seafarers that whalers and other ships often drift to those islands. Vessels searching for the missing steamer Waratah, Dr Newton says, ought to visit them.
