By Telegraph—Press Association. ASHBURTON, September 15. The Asnnurton County Racing Club's spring meeting opened to-day. Results:— First Hurdles. —Whatakura 1, Le Beau 2, Sea Dog 3. Won by two lengths Time, 3min 18 3-ssec. Cardiff and Court Martial were scratched. Trial Plate. —Wet Day 1, Zemlia 2, Lady Dirk 3. The winner led all the way, passing the post two and a half lentzths to the good. fZemlia was three lengths in front of Lady Dirk. Ture, lrnin 2 3-ssec. Windy, Steppe, Little Fairy and Captain Kidd were scratched. Braemer Weltsr.—Paragon 1, Outlander 2, Gold Braid 3. Paragon won by a neck. Time, Imm 30 3-ssec. De Witte whs scratched. Ashburton County Handicap.—Rose Noble 1, Prim 2, Tikitere 3. Sea Dog was scratched. In the home straight Rose Noble got into the Jead and maintaining her position won by a neck. Time, lmin 54 l-ssec. Hack Handicap.—Vologda 1, Luperin 2, Claymore 3. Ten started. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 16sec. Spring Handicap.—llarita 1, Federal 2, Alexis 3. Sea Doe and Ingoda were scratched. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 3 l-ssec.
