RANGITIKEI RACES.

The totaiisaior receipts amounted to £5,184, as against £3,316 for the corresponding day last year, which was held under ad verse weather conditions. W. Ayers, rider'of Boanerges, who fell in the firat race, was carried off the course unconscious, but has since recovered, F. Flynn, rider of Lingerer, who fell, was badly injured, and had to be removed from the course. Results:— Flying Handiacp.—Lady Medallist 1, Investment 2, Marton 3. Scratched—lney, Wee Trinket. Won easily. Time, Imin 18sec. Willow Bank Hack Steeplechase. —Whimper 1, Ngawaka 2, Oryx 3. Scratched —Moosken, Rocket, Monty. Won easily, Time; 4min 4 l-ssec. Papakura, Gibaro and Prizeman fell in this race.
Pukehou Hack Hurdles. —Waimaria 1, Earl King 2, Mount Cook 3. Won by two lengths. Scratched—Maggie Paul, Tambour Maior, Rosy Morn, Westeria. Time, 2min 51 3-ssec. Maiden Hack Flat.—Tawhaki 1Kilindini 2, uold Top 3. Scratched — Te Puhi. Farronite, Wharekoa, Ecliptic, Puanga, Uapu, Lady Linton, Needlework, Konowai, Mungatele, Sunrose, Captain, Royal Patron, True Shot. Won by a head. Time, 51sec. Rangitikei Steeplechase—Mocassin 1, Chief 2, Lovell 3. Scratched— Riro Atu. Won easily. Time, 6min 6 4 'ssec. Spring Handicap.—Sir Frisco 1, Wee Trinket 2, Iranui 3. All started. Won by a clear length. Time, 2min 2 l-ssec. Rangitoto Hack Handicap.—Milan I, First Consul 2, Te Roti 3. Scratched—Dolce, Equitas. A head between the placed horses. Time, lmin 33£ sec. ACCEPTANCES.
