STOCK MARKET.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report the following sales:—At Mangamahoe on Thursday we held a clearing sale on account of Mr H. Larsen. The attend • ance was large and we made a total clearance with one or two exceptions. Of eighteen assorted horses we sold sixteen. The class was very second rate, and prices accordingly low, viz., £2 10a to £6 14s, all being of the light type; cows to £5. harness and sundries, stock-in trade, etc., all sold readily. At Ekecahuna we submitted wethers and ho?frets, best wethers making 14s 6d, a line of exceptionally good hoggets 12s 6d. In cattle we offered young steers, twoyears, these making £3 7s; dairy heifers, according to quality, £3 10s to £5; dairy cows, £3 to £5; slip pigs, 18s 6d to 20s; weaners, 13s to 15s 6d.
