OPAKI RIFLE CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING

The annual meeting of the Opaki Rifle Club was held last evening. Captain W. J. Wlech occupied the chair, and there was an attendance of about twenty members. The annual report wa3 read, showing the performance of the Club members at the various meetings during the past year, which were of a very high order. The balance sheet shuwed a credit balance of £l6 8s 6d. " The chairman, in moving the adoption of the report and balance sheet, said that the position dis ■ I closed was highly satisfactory. There had been heavy expenditure at the new range during the sea • son. Reference was also made to the fact that there was not a single outstanding subscription, and in this connection he paid a tribute to the secrutary, Mr W. J. Winslade.
