LONDON TO BRIGHTON
.Received September 6, 8.15 a.m. LONDON, September 5. Mr Ross, the "Daily Mail" electrician, won the long-distance walk from the Polytechnic, London, to Brighton. The time was 8 hours 11 minutes 14 seconds, establishing a record.
The distance from London to Brighton is about 52 miles.
