A NARROW ESCAPE.
GOVERNOR LOST IN THE BUSH,
Received September 2, 8.45 a.m. OTTAWA, September 1. Earl Grey, Governor-General of Canada, whi'e hunting alone in the woods at Jervis Inlet, British Columbia, lost his way at nightfall, and was bushed for five h urs. During his wanderings, his Excellency narrowly escaped falling over'a precipice. Eventually the Earl was rescued by a search party.
