CLOSER SETTLEMENT.
By Telegraph—Press Association. NAPIER, September 1. The uovernment has purchased for closer settlement purposes Messrs Duff Brothers' Clyde Bank estate, Wairoa. The property comprises 9,000 acres, and is situated within four mileu of the town of Wairoa, on the Frasertown Koad. It is admirably adapted for cutting up.
