POTATO DISEASES.
REPORT OF MR KIRK. Received September 1,11 a.m. HOBART, September 1. Mr T. W. Kirk, New Zealand Government Biologist, reports that potato disease exists in a very mild form in the north-west coast district. PERTH, September 1. Irish blight has been discovered in crops at Guildford.
