PARLIAMENT.
PROBABLE DATE OF REASSEMBLING. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, August 31. Although the date of Parliament's re-assembling has not been finally fixed, it is now generally understood that the session will commence on October 9th, when formalities will take place, and that business will begin on tne following Tuesday. The Premier (Sir Joseph Ward) leaves Vancouver on September 10th, and under ordinary circumstances would reach Brisbane on October 2nd, but owing to special arrangements for continuing the journevTxom Suva direct t© New Zealand by warship, he will be able to arrive in Auckland nearly a week before the formal opening of Parlia ment.
