The Development Bill now before Parliament provides for £600,000 annually for Road Boards allocated from the petrol and motor taxes, and also for over half a million sterling for purposes already cabled, many of which are similar to those in existence in foreign countries. The Unionist ctitics describe the Bill as an electoral bribery.
