MORRIS TUBE SHOOTING.
The Masterton Morris Tube C'ub held their sixth and final shoot for the "leg in" competition last night. Mr W. Bannister (35) secured a third "leg in," and won the A class trophy (Mr R. J. King's cruet). Mr D. M. Mcintosh also had three "legs in," but retired after the fourth competition owing to the rules prohibiting any member winning mcrj than two trophies during the season. In the B class competition Mr J. Culloty won thd "leg in" with 35, and had to shoot off for the trophy with Messrs Barker, Gray, Johansen, and Blackburn, [each having two "legs in." The shoot off resulted:— R. Blackburn, scr,, 33; A. Johansen, 1, 32; J. Culloty, scr., ;L. Barker, 1, 31. R. Blackburn wins Dr Cook's trophy, a handsome set of carvers. The smoke concert originally fixed for next week has been postponed until the following week, owing to its clashing with other entertainments The members will be photographed in the Park on Sunday morning, at 10 o'clock.
