THE FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENT. MR FISHER'S VIEWS. Received August 26,11 a.m. Mr A. Fisher, ex-Premier, speaking in the Federal House on the financial arrangement between the States and the Commonwealth, said he thought the proposed payment of twenty-five shillings per capita was excessive. It was, he declared, a piece of hypocrisy, to offer such an amount, because it would not be always possible to pay it.
