FIRE ON A STEAMER.

MYSTERIOUS OUTBREAK. Received August 18, 11.5 a.m. PERTH, August 18. The North German [Lloyd steamer Borkum, from Bremen and Natal, has arrived here. On 6th July, as previously reported by cable, the vessel put into Mauritius with a fire in her holds, and jettisoned ai?c Hundred tons of cargo. The origin of the outbreak was a mystery. The jettisioned cargo included 4,000 cases of dynamite, which were stored in the hold adorning the outbreak. The firi was still burning fiercely when the vessel arrived at Port Louis, but the crew, with great efforts, succseded in duelling it.
