ARMS AND AMMUNITION SEIZED.
United Press Association—By Electric Tolegrap Copyright, Received August 16, .10.20 p.m. CALCUTTA, August 16. Advices received from Simla state that 40 breechloaders and 20,000 cartridges were captured near Nowshera while being smuggled into the Swat Valley from Afghanistan, via the Kohat Pass. There is a clear indication that there are abundant supplies across the frontier owing to the gun-running at Muscat.
