Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cable message from their London House, under date of the 12th inst.- Tallow.—Since our last wire prices in general are from 3d to 6d lower. Demand.is limited. Frozen meat—There is less demand owing to decreased retail business consequent upon the weather being very hot. Lamb.—Since our last wire for Canterbury prime lamb any change of prices is in favour of buyers, pther descriptions are from Jd to id per lb lower. The market for lamb is weak. Mutton. —Since uur last wire for heavy descriptions any change in prices is in favour of sellers. For other descriptions the market is weak, but pries are not quotably changed. Beef.—Hinds | unchanged; fores &d higher.
