NEW ZEALAND LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP.

Golf Tournament, which will begin on Wednesday. The majority of the competitors have already arrived and were out on the links to-day. There are 49 entries for the Championship, 96 for the Medal Handicap, 90 for the Bogey Match, 79 for the Ladies' Foursomes, 77 for the Donnelly Cup, 51 for the Coronation Medal, 64 for the Driving, and 82 for the Approaching and Putting. The entrants ' for the Championship include Miss
Christie (present champion). Miss Rattray (thrice champion), Mrs W. E. Bidwill and Mrs Guy Williams (twice champions) and Miss Stephenson (once champion). Among the district champions a»e:-—Mrs Bevan, of Otaki (Manawatu champion). Miss Snodg'rass (Hokitika champion), Miss Campbell (Christchurch champion), Miss Braithwaite (Napier champion) t Miss Cowper (Wanganui champion), Miss Hann&y ex-champion, Wellington). Twenty-three clubs are represented. The links at Hokowhitu are in excellent condition.
