AUCKLAND EXPRESS DELAYED.
SLIP NORTH OF OHAKUNE. By Telegraph—Press Association. TAIHAPF, August 9. Owing to a slip in a cutting, north of Ohakune, the Auckland express was delayed for three jiours, the engine being too damaged to pioceed a special engine was aent from here. The Governor and Burns, the boxer, are on the train. A large crowd assembled to see the latter, but he refuged in the dining car, with the blinds down, and ■ refused to answer calls to appear.
