Buchanan, of Paltr - erston North, and E. E gle, jn?V of Belvedere, have each promised a purebred yearling bull from their well-known herds for the cows by a purebred Ayrshire and Jersey Lull, reseetively, securing the highest in the compaction. Valjable Challenge Cups will also be awarded in the jumping competition, best hack and beat lady's hack classes (the ,one for the later being a very handsome 30-guinea Rose Bawl, presented by the ladies of the Carterton district). Ihe nome industries section will be a more prominent featurethan in previous years, a'conaiderable number of additional classes having been included in the schedule. Mr VV. j Gadsby, of Waipuna, Hountahi, Linc.ln sheep; Mr C. Withell, of New Brighton, Leicester sheep; Mr R. Tanner, of Longburn, Romney sheep; Mr Hy. Pannett, of Springston, Southdowns; Mr Robt.
