THE HORSHAM TRAGEDY.
HAY SENTENCED TO IMPRISONMENT. Received August 5, 10.20 a.m. MELBOURNE, August 5. The trial of Mrs Cox and' Albert Hay, charged with the murder of the husband of the former prisoner at Horsham on July 12th, has conceded.
Hay was found guilty of manslaughter, and was sentenced to fif- ■ j teen years' imprisonment. MrsGox was acquitted.
told tho police that he had quarrelled with Cox, who accused him of always being drunk when he came home. He struck Cox several times with a toy gun, and then grasped* hia throat and held it for fifteen minuses, till Cox was dead.
