FORTUNE-TELLING PROSECUTIONS.

I In a police prosecution against various persons charged with fortunetelling, Mr Napier suomitted that they could nut be convicted on the uncorroborated l evidence of constables, who gave evidence which made them accomplices. The Magistrate took time to consider the point.
