The Skating Carnival held in connection with the Fire Brigade's Art Union drawing, last evening, in the Drill Hall, was a decided success, and fully three hundred people were present. Before the drawing for the prizes took place the Mayor (Mr D. good work, which was for the benefit of the citiiiiJr s. M- Cr we also mai e reference to the proposed additions to the Brigade Shed, which he hoped would shortly be effected.
