Bates' general weather forecast:— High winds from hetwecn west and south are probable everywhere, with cloudy, cold and unsettled weather. Southerly wintfs will shortly prevail, but will probably back by the west for more disturbed weather, follow ing with another disturbance across the Tasman sea.
