THE CZAR'S VISIT TO LONDON.
UNPOPULAR WITH THE LABOUR PARTY. MRKEIR HARDIE'S VIEWS. Received July 26. 9.30 p.m. LONDON, July 26. Large crowds assembled in Trafalgar Square and formed two processions, with bands, th* banners bearing uncomplimentary inscriptions regarding the Czar's visit. Mr Keir Hardie, addressing the crowd, said that they were there as representing neither the King nor the Government, but the power that made Kings and Governments. A resolution protesting against the official reception of the Czar was carried after speeches by Messrs Ramsay Macdonald, H. M. Hyndman, Ben Tillet, and Bernard Shaw had been made.
