The sum of - £15,638 passed through the machine, i making £41,006 lor the meeting, be- - ing £4,301 more than last year. Wonby two lengths, the same distancebeing between the second and third horses. Time, lmin 43 3-saec. Corunna Hurdle Handicap, of 100 sovs; 1$ mile. Waione, 10.2 1 Yosami, 9.0 2 Kelso, 9.0 3 Also started—Rangihaeta, Diplomatic, Waihuku. Won gby four lengths. Time, 3min 10 4-ssec. July Steeplechase Handicap, of 300 sovs; 2£ miles. TeArai, 10.10 1 Irish, 10.6 2 Nadador, 10.10 3 "•"• Also started—Speciosa, Lingerer; Deerslayer. Irish led for a mile and threequarters, where Te Arai joined him. The latter took charge half a mile from home, and ■ won by ten lengths, the isame distance being l between the second and third horses. Deerslayer fell after going six fur>longs. Time, 6min 7 2-ssec. Winter Oats Handicap, of 250 sovs; 1 ■» mile. Merrie Zealand, 9.13 1 "~"~ Gaelic, 9.0 2 Coronetted, 9.12 3, Also started—Sir Frisco, tyimi/iura, Iranui, Diamond Star, Seaman, King Post. Merrie Zealand, took charge at the top of the straight, and won by four lengths, the, third > horse being two lengths away. lmin 57 3-ssec. Final Hurdle Handicap, of 300 sivs; If mile. Belario. 9.7 1 Rendrock, 9.7 L' Exraoor, 10.8 3 Also started—Kairoma, Corazon. Won by half a length. Time, JJmin 43sec. Handicap, of IOOjiovs; 6J furlong*; Miscast, 10.7 i Timothy, 9.4 2 Rose Herald, 9.0 3 Also started—Te Ru, Axite, Waiata, Royal Maid, Merry Christmas. Won by a head. Time, 2min 27 3-5 sec.
