A DECREASE.

The gold yield cf Victoria last year imounted to 721,220 ounces, of the tross value of £2,850,000. Commred with last year, the returns ihow a decrease of 33,050 ounces in he gross yield, mainly owing to he closing of some of the deep-lead nines. Victoria's output since the discovery of gold now totals 66,464,132 ounces, of the value of over £282,000,000.
