SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. GREYTOWN v. RED STAR. The Greytown and Red Star Seniors met on the Masterton Showgounds, ' on Saturday last. The ground was very heavy, water lying on it in ' places. After a keenly contested game the visitors, won by 13 poir.t; to 4. Balfour, who played a brilliant game, .responsible for all of J Greytown's score. He scored a try, potted a goal, kicked a penalty goal, and also a goal from a mark. S.jillane putttd a pretty goal for Stars, j Mr E. McKenzie wasreferee. CARTERTON v. LOWER VALLEY* At Carterton, the local Seniors defeated Lower Valley by 14 point to 3. JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. DALEFIELD v. LIBERAL. At Dalefield the Liberal Juniors were defeated by the Dalefield team by 11 points to nil. RED 6TAR v. GREYTOWN. At Greytown, Red Star Greytown by 6 points to 3. Clarke and Golder scored tries for the winners. THIRE-CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP. RED STAR v. CARTERTON. At Carterton the local Third-class team defeated Red Star Thirds by 3 points to nil. A meeting of the Red Star Junior* will be held in Mr H. Clarke's Dominion Cafe, on Wednesday evening, at 7 o'clock.
