Received July 15, 9.55 a.m. i LONDON, July 14. 5 When play was resumed at Bristol this morning in the match Australians v. Gloucester, the weather was dull, and there was a small \ attendance. The wicket was fast. The Australians, who had scored ' 445 in their first innings for the loss of eight wickets, declared their innings closed, and the County players went in for the second time. The first wicket fell for 13, and the second for 58, Langdon being responsible for most of the runs; Sewell was cleverly taken at shortleg by Bardsley. The third wicket for 77, and the next two wickets fell without any addition to the score. The century was reached in 105 minutes. Six wickets were down when 108 was on the board. Langdon was two hours in compiling 55. Parker batted solidly for an hour. Langdon, who showed faultless all-round play with fine driving, | eventually played Noble on. Tltfi seventh wicket fell for 132, but Parker and Langdon fetched the second century on the board before their partnership was dissolved.
