The subscribers to this testimoni.il desire to place on record their appreciation of the attention always given to your many and varied customers, sometimes against apparently vexatious annoyances; in Mrs Cooper you , always found a worthy helpmate. Oil . many occasions you must have found lit a severp trial, but you bore it with fortitude, and your pleasant manner never relaxed. In parting I with Mrs Cooper and yourself we do I so with sincere regret, for to know you both socially was a privilege to be desired, we feel assured that wherever and what part of the Dominion you may decide upon to take up your future abode you will gain the universal respect of your fellow citizens, and we trust you may have pleasant recollections of your brief residence in Masterton. Wisliirig you and your family every prosperity—We are, yours faithfully, j (Here follow the signatures to the address).
