LONDON WOOL SALES.
BRADFORD MARKET FIRM. LONDON, July 9. At the London wool sales, the Gear clip realised B£d per lb. There was strong competition for all good sorts, but a slow sale for faulties. Prices were in buyers' favour. The Bradford market is firm, but business somewhat quiet. Quotations are irregular, with average "tops" unchanged. Received July 12, 12.30 a.m. LONDON, July 11. At the wool sales there was a good attendance and fairly keen competition, but bidding occasionally dragged. Numerous lots of the shabbier sorts of crossbreds were submitted. The sales included: —Waiau, BJd; Kilongbuta, 21& d. To date 45.259 bales have been offered and 41,451 sold. Dalgety and Co. have received the tollowing cable message from their London house, under date Bth instant:— "Wool sales continue with increasing spirit. Prices unchanged. American buyers are operating moderately."
