Mr H. Collins, of the Grey town Hotel, is seriouely ill in a private hospital at Wellington, whither he went recently for medical attendance.
The death of William Druramond took place at the Greytown Hospital on Wednesday night. Deceased was 29 years of age, and was recently in the employment of Mr J. V. Re id, of Featherscon. The funeral took jpUicj Inglewogd orv Saturday last,. "Mr W. C. Drake, lut Milhy yfiars Postmaster at Carterton, and now of Waimate, has been transferred to Petone, in succession to Mr Greatbatch, who has retired the service owing to ill-health
Mr Mark Sheehy, a well known resident of Wanganui, died in the Wanganui Hospital, yesterday, as the result of being thrown out of a trap on Wednesday, states a Press Association telegram. His neck was broken by the tall, which occurred very simply.
