I NO WISH FOR WAR. DESIRE TO DICTATE TO EUROPE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright. Received July 8, 8.25 a.m. LONDON, July 7. The Bishop of Salisbury (Rfght Rev. J Wordsworth, D.D.), who accompanied the clergy and pastots w.ho recently made a visit to Germany, informed a church meeting in London that he had not found in that country any real desire for war. His Lordship added that he hady however, found a considerable desire for making provisions for war, and for the possession of such naval' and military supremacy as might enable Germany to dictate to Europe in a crisis—or, if necessary, to the United States. |
