Mr J. C. TBoddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plam for the 24 hours preceding 9 a.m. on Wednesday was 5 points. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 7. The following is Rev. D. C. Bates"' general weather forecast: —Very humid conditions with light and variable winds have prevailed and are likely to continue to-morrow; an area of westerly low pressure due on Saturday will probably bring very unsettled weather, and be followed by a heavy snowfall on high country in the South Island.
