NORTHERN UNION FOOTBALL.

Johnston, who was a member of the "All Blacks" football team, and who also made a t»*ip to Eflglani as a member of the Northern Union team, has returned to Dunedin. He states that the visit of another New Zealand team will be acceptable to tha Home body in about two years' time provided it is sent under the management of the League affiliated to the Northern Union. At Home they will have no more teams sent by individuals. Todd is returning to New Zealand in about a fortnight, and is not likely to go back 'to England. George Smith is settled down in Oldham. Edgar Wrigley, of Masterton, is at Huddersfield, and is staying there until the end of next season. Kelly is afc St Helens, where, he is finishing his trade. McGregor is in Gloucestershire; and is anxious to return to New Zealand. Johnston will remain here to organise the next team that goes from New Zealand Home. He says: —"We may get a call from the Northern Union in eighteen months or two years, but it is almost certain that a team will go the season after the next one at Home."
