PERSONAL.
Revs. H. Watson and W. Raine will leave Masterton this morning, for Wellington, to attend the annual Synod of the Anglican Church. Rev. G. V. Kendrick, curate of All Saints' Church. Palmerston North, was on a visit to Masterton yesterday. Mr A. G. Johnson, for years secretary of the Wellington- Benevolent Institution, and a prominent figure in boating and athletic circles, died yesterday morning, after a long illness. A wedding was solemnised at High street, Koslyn, Dunedin, on June 30th, when Mr George E'. Reynolds, eldest son of the late Mr John Reynolds, "Mayfield," East Tamtahi, Wairarapa, was married to Miss Margaret H.. Macarthur, youngest daughter of. the late Mr A. W. Macarthur, of Dunedin. The bride was given away by her brother, 'Mr J. S. Macarthur, of Wellington, and was attended by Miss Amy Reynolds, as bridesmaid (sister of the bridegroom). Mr P. Cranston, of Dunedin, acted aa best man. The Rev. Dr. Waddell, of St. Andrew's Church, Dunedin, was a the officiating clergyman.
